PLANO, Texas (Oct. 29, 2024) — Lifeblue — an industry-leading digital agency serving a wide swath of partners that includes arts and culture organizations, ecommerce and the nonprofit sector — announced the acquisition of CrateBind, a builder of mobile apps, web applications and other custom software.
Founded in 2014, CrateBind offers end-to-end digital service that combines strategy, design and engineering — resulting in ready-made products for startups and established companies, including Mizzen + Main and Dude Perfect.
“We believe this relationship will benefit both companies, building an even stronger culture and increasing our depth of resources and breadth of services — so we can better serve our partners,” said Rob Williams, president of CrateBind.
Founded in 2006, Lifeblue offers web strategy, design, development, integrations and content services for clients including the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the AT&T Performing Arts Center and Heifer International.
“Behind the work we do is a love of learning and a heart for service,” said Phillip Blackmon, CEO and co-founder of Lifeblue. “The secret to our growth over the last 18 years has been the depth of our partnerships and the sharing of our experience. CrateBind operates the same way, and we know our teams and clients will benefit from working together.”
Along with CrateBind, Lifeblue’s family of companies includes TurnStyle, which helps major professional sports teams and arts institutions grow and sustain memberships through its Software-as-a-Service platform.
As a Certified B Corporation, Lifeblue is part of a global movement of companies that believe business should be a force for good.
“Like us, CrateBind is a transformational, purpose-driven team that is committed to its people and its partners,” Blackmon said. “We’re eager to start sharing our work with each other, and we’re excited to see what happens next.”
