If we’ve learned anything over the past year and a half, it’s that we are all connected — as families, friends, colleagues and communities — and at Lifeblue, we believe our purpose lies in leveraging technology to keep the world’s connections growing.
In our daily work, we strive to move brands forward faster, but our broader mission is to help move humanity forward together — one line of code, one interactive design, one digital strategy at a time.
That’s part of why we worked to become a Certified B Corporation, joining a movement of other companies that balance purpose with profit. It’s also why we always aim to go above and beyond in our relationships with our clients: Our work exists to help our partners make a deeper impact on the world.

The Perot Museum of Nature and Science: Advancing STEAM education
We’ve enjoyed our partnership with the Perot Museum since our inception, and we’ve taken their mission to heart — educating the next generation of scientists, engineers and explorers to help inspire the next Thomas Edison or Sally Ride.
Sometimes, that work is highly technical, focused on strategy and execution of digital solutions to help sell tickets and safely facilitate visitors as we navigate the pandemic. Other times, we contribute to their mission by packing build-your-own rocket kits and DIY catapults for their TECH Truck, which delivers hands-on science lessons to children throughout North and Central Texas.
At our most recent volunteer event, we even made our own rockets after packing a few crates’ worth of kits. The project was a tangible reminder of the difference our partners make every day in our community — and the privilege we enjoy in helping their mission.

Heifer International: Hacking away at hunger and poverty
We’re always inspired by the work done around the globe by our longtime partners at Heifer International, and we especially feel the power of their commitment to ending world hunger and poverty every fall when our entire company devotes its full attention to Hack Week. This year marks our eighth annual Heifer Hack Week, a time when we drop everything and focus on making the largest impact possible to make sure Heifer is ready as it heads into its busiest fundraising season.
In years past, our entire team left home together and converged on Heifer’s headquarters in Little Rock, Ark. for a full week of bonding and hard work for a common purpose. The pandemic changed our logistics, but not our sense of purpose, and we can’t wait to roll up our sleeves again this year to build new solutions together.

VOLY.org: Building bridges between volunteers and opportunities
There may be no greater illustration of technology’s power to connect communities than the results we’ve seen during our partnership with VOLY.org. Through iterations and evolutions of platforms and strategies, we applied our services to help give educators more flexibility to seek out volunteer help and enabled them to reach new audiences.
The results were powerful. During the 2018-2019 school year, more than 118,000 volunteers gave 536,000 hours, which had a direct impact on more than 400,000 students. Last year, VOLY.org was able to mobilize 310,000 volunteers, who gave an incredible 1.625 million hours in service.
